Croton Care Basics

☀️ Light

• Crotons need bright, indirect light to maintain their vibrant colors.

• Direct sun for a few hours is okay, but too much can scorch their leaves.

• If your croton's colors fade, it likely needs more light!

💧 Water

• Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.

• Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.

• Use filtered or distilled water if your tap water is high in chlorine, which crotons dislike.

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

• Thrives in 65-80°F (18-27°C).

• Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

• Crotons love humidity—mist occasionally or use a humidity tray to prevent dry, crispy leaves.

🌱 Soil & Potting

• Use a well-draining, nutrient-rich mix. Our Tropical Aroid Mix works great!

• A mix containing coco coir, perlite, and pine bark will ensure aeration and prevent root rot.
